Welcome to the EL Program!
My name is Colette Mlot, and I am an English Learning (EL) teacher at Willow. This is my 11th year teaching, and my 6th year at Willow. I received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from National-Louis University, along with my English as a Second Language endorsement. I also continue to take courses and workshops in Education on a regular basis.
I live with my husband, Pete, and 3 cats-Oscar, Bart, and Norman. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, swimming, and anything that gets me up and moving!
My first goal is for all students to feel comfortable learning and trying new things in our group. I look forward to working with your children this school year!
