Administration

Willow School has a student population of 600 students in preschool through second grade. Our students have a love of learning that we work hard to nurture and further develop here at school. We focus on educating the whole child, offering a variety of academic, social, and emotional programs in and out of the classroom to help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful. Students experience a rigorous curriculum of reading, writing, spelling, math, social studies, science, music, art, technology, physical education, and library skills. Students learn to work cooperatively, to think critically, to solve problems, to resolve conflicts, and to take responsibility for their own learning.

Willow parents maintain high standards and expectations for their school and their children. They work together as a team with teachers, staff and administrators to ensure that our children have every opportunity to maximize their potential. Our philosophy of family involvement in the educational process fosters strong parent participation in classroom, grade level, and school wide activities.

Willow School employs more than ninety staff members to provide a variety of school related services to the children and families of our school community. Willow teachers and staff are committed to the education of children and devote many hours beyond the school day and the school year to enhance the programs they offer children. They receive frequent, intensive in-service training each year and attend conferences to provide a superior educational program. Average class sizes of approximately 19 students allow teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to work closely with students on an individual and small group basis.
