Hurray for Kindergarten!
Welcome to Willow kindergarten. We believe children enter kindergarten filled with wonder, hope, enthusiasm and a love of learning. They are eager to take on new challenges. We will challenge them by creating a safe and engaging learning environment. There is nothing more amazing than to watch a child learn to read, write and grow socially and emotionally.
Kindergarten is a critical time to build a solid foundation. We do this through a curriculum that is rich in the five components of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, many writing activities, the Everyday Math program, as well as many science and social studies units. Field trips complement our curriculum.
We believe that a good school/home relationship is vital to the success of your child. We cannot do this alone. We look forward to working closely with you and your children.
