Welcome to the Jedi Academy with Mrs. Vazquez! Parents, feel free to call me Christen. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I am a product of District 153. My brother, sister, and I attended Churchill, James Hart and Homewood-Flossmoor High School. I graduated from Illinois State University. It has been a unique experience being colleagues with some of the same people who taught me or I have taught at one point in my school career. District 153 is pretty special!
My family and I live in Homewood. We believe in this district, and I teach every one of my students like he or she is one of my own.
This year is going to be AMAZING! We will learn a lot while still having fun! I look forward to this partnership, and can't wait to get to know you and your child better this year.
